Exactly last month I released my review of the Tronsmart MUPP1 Premium Charging Cables that my wife bought from Lazada, and Tronsmart was kind enough to send me another one of their products, this time an audio device in the form of the Tronsmart Element T2 Bluetooth Speaker.
Tronsmart is known for making high quality charging solutions such as cables, power banks, chargers and even wireless charging devices. But they also ventured into audio devices such as earphones, headphones, and speakers. Today, as I’ve mentioned, we are going to take a look at the Tronsmart Element T2 Bluetooth Speaker, and I’ll give you guys everything you need to know about this.
MY EARLY BREAKDOWN
Pros: Portable, Durable, Great sound quality with excellent bass, IPX56 rating, Excellent battery life, TWS feature
Cons: Front-firing speakers only, you need to direct it toward the listening angle
In terms of design, it’s simple yet quite pleasing. In front, we have the metal speaker grill with a plastic lining on the center and a tronsmart logo, same goes for the other side.
When it comes to construction, it’s pretty solid and has a nice weight to it while maintaining enough balance for portability. Aside from the metal speaker grill, the Tronsmart Element T2 is covered with a nice to the touch rubberized material that will certainly help with the grip, especially when it’s wet since you can use this outdoors and can withstand a splash here and there, more on that later.
Up top, we have the controls starting with the power button that doubles as a mode switch button, the Bluetooth button that also doubles as a call answering button, the play/pause button, and the volume buttons that can also be used for forward and skip.
We also have here at the top the hard plastic loop wherein you can attach the included carabiner and/or the lanyard.
On the side, we have the input ports covered with this TPU cover.
Open the cover and you’ll see the 3.5mm jack, the microSD card slot and the micro USB port for charging.
At the bottom, we have some technical information about the speaker and the two anti-slip rubber feet.
The speaker measures 14cm width, 4.5cm depth and 7cm height with a weight of around 340grams making this very portable
Bluetooth Pairing and Connectivity
Pairing the Tronsmart Element T2 to your device is pretty easy, just power on the speaker by pushing the power button for two seconds and it will automatically go to pairing mode.
Depending on your device, once you turn on the Bluetooth, it should detect the tronsmart element t2 and ask for permission to pair, accept it and you’re good to go
In terms of the quality of the connection, I have no problem moving this around the house, but it loses stability when multiple walls are in between which is kinda expected. But with a clear line of sight, it can get pretty far with a stable connection.
Microphone Quality
In terms of the quality of the built-in microphone, it’s actually decent. We’ve tested this on both Facebook call and a phone call and according to my wife, my voice is very clear.
TWS (True Wireless Stereo) Feature
The Tronsmart Element T2 has a so-called True Wireless Stereo feature, wherein you can use two tronsmart element t2, pair them together to work as a stereo speakers.
Other Features
Aside from Bluetooth connectivity, the Tronsmart Element T2 also has a built-in media player via the MicroSD card slot. Take note that your music will automatically play once you inserted the memory card.
You can also use the included 3.5mm aux cable to connect your device to the speaker. This is a good option if you’re not moving around and if you want to increase the battery life of your device.
Battery Life
Speaking of battery life, it’s actually one of the best features of the Tronsmart Element T2. It boasts a whopping 12 hours of continuous music playback, and as per my testing, it’s close to that for around 10 hours give or take in different volume and conditions, which I think is excellent considering how powerful it is.
While charging the led will light up RED and will turn off once it’s fully charged, and of course, you can use it while charging as well.
IPX56 Water Resistant Feature
One of the main features of the tronsmart element t2 is it’s ipx56 certified, which means that it’s splash proof and can be used while it’s raining. As per my testing, it held up pretty well while being splashed with water without much distortion on the music. The rubberized coating certainly helped with the grip while it’s wet and the included carabiner can also be handy if you want to hang this up.
Sound Quality
In terms of sound quality, it’s pretty decent at least for my taste, the mids and highs are there but I feel like the bass is a little bit more pronounced which may or may not be good depending on your preference. But for me again, I really like the sound quality this speaker can produce and as I’ve mentioned earlier, I was blown away with the power coming from this, and that for its size, it’s very capable. It can easily fill a small to medium sized room without missing a heartbeat and you can really feel the powerful bass and see the speakers bouncing around at max volume.

Will I Recommend This? Yes!
To conclude, I am really impressed by this Bluetooth speaker, it has a ton of features built-in and the TWS function is kinda interesting, I hope I can test that out in the future though, maybe for a desk setup video, we’ll see. The ipx56 rating is certainly a well-appreciated feature and the overall durability is super solid with this one. The battery life is also outstanding at around 10-12 hours of continuous music playback, which is enough to last you for a day. The sound quality is really impressive for its size and price, and I’m pretty sure you’ll be satisfied with it.
