Capture Life’s Best Moments with the OPPO Reno11 Series 5G

Tech doesn’t always have to be in the way of capturing life’s best moments, sometimes all we need is what we already have.

And what do we have with us all the time? Smartphones. Throughout the years, smartphone cameras have substantially improved making them a viable option for capturing impressive images that are good enough if not better compared to some more expensive and bulky point-and-shoot cameras.

However, not all smartphone cameras are built the same. Some are mediocre, some are outstanding. Luckily, I got the opportunity to try the new OPPO Reno11 5G, which promises to offer amazing portrait shots with its improved telephoto lens.

For the longest time, my priority on smartphone cameras has always been the ultra-wide angle lens because I like to shoot landscapes more than portrait shots. However, since becoming a dad, I found myself taking more portrait shots of our son than anything else. So my interest in smartphone cameras has since then shifted.

Now, what I like about the OPPO Reno11 5G is that not only does it boast an improved Flagship-level main camera with a 26mm, 50MP, F1.8 wide aperture lens with a Sony LYT600 sensor and optical image stabilization to boot, but it also has an improved 47mm, 32MP, F2 wide aperture telephoto lens with a Sony IMX709 sensor.

With some decent hardware in check partnered with OPPO’s continuously improving Pro-Grade portrait mode, I can honestly and comfortably say that it can capture pretty compelling portrait shots to seize life’s best moments.

What I like most about the OPPO Reno11 5G’s Pro-Grade Portrait Mode is the overall natural and accurate look. No perceivable distortion with gradual background separation, and an overall natural tone.

Shot with 100% natural light

I was also surprised by how well the camera of the OPPO Reno11 5G handles different lighting situations resulting in some dramatic portraits. More often than not, this kind of shot will result in super-blown highlights to compensate for the darker shadows but this shot turned out pretty good.

Even on low-light situations, The cameras of the OPPO Reno11 5G proved to be quite reliable

The 16mm, 8MP, F2.2 aperture, ultra-wide camera with a Sony IMX355 sensor is also fairly decent. It doesn’t suffer from the typical washed-out images I’ve seen from other ultra-wide cameras and just looks quite vibrant.

The 26mm, 50MP, F1.8 wide aperture main camera with a Sony LYT600 sensor and optical image stabilization is, of course, the best and most versatile option amongst the triple camera system. It captures natural and vibrant images with substantial detail and clarity. The optical image stabilization will allow you to capture fast-paced moments with a better probability of getting sharp images. Essentially a go-to point-and-shoot option for immortalizing life’s best moments.

Now, life’s best moments don’t necessarily limit you to anything. You can also appreciate still life and embrace your creativity. The OPPO Reno11 5G’s outstanding camera, gave me much-needed motivation to go out and see things from a different perspective.

Change your attitude, Change your life

Overall, With the Ultra-Clear Portrait Camera System of the OPPO Reno11 5G partnered with the Pro-Grade Mode and Portrait Expert Engine, you’ll have the much-needed confidence that you won’t miss life’s precious moments. Both the hardware and software sides go hand in hand in producing the best image quality possible. The ultra-wide angle camera was not an after-thought producing vibrant images while the main camera gives you reliability and versatility with a telephoto lens that is not just usable, but also absolutely outstanding. Having a Pro-Grade mode option in the camera app definitely offers that flexibility and control while also assisting you with its natural-looking image processing.
