I recently did a side project on my YouTube Channel and I figured, why not share that here on my blog as well for some of you that might have missed it. Basically what I did is I modified my old case fans which are from Coolermaster, the sickleflow series fans. These fans are performance fans rated at 2000RPM and were very popular back in the day when RGB case fans were not a thing yet.
The color scheme of my PC as you may have guessed is yellow and orange, unfortunately, my sickleflow fans have white LEDs on it which I’ve previously modified already when I used it on my old PC back then. On stock, it came with blue LEDs on it and it’s quite nostalgic doing this modification again, as simple as it may be, it’s still a fun project.
Yes, you can probably just prefer buying a set of RGB case fans and go about your life, but if you want to save some cash and if you want to have some fun, then you can also do this kind of projects.
