Most headphones are built for either studio work or casual listening – Headphone (1) Pro challenges this divide by combining daily essentials like Active Noise Cancellation with studio-grade features for listening, producing and mixing.
More sonic detail with a triple driver architecture
Unlike most headphones on the market today, which typically have a single driver, Headphone (1) Pro features a triple driver architecture. Each specialises in part of the frequency range, working together to unlock deeper bass, textured vocals and richer instruments. The bass dynamic driver gives bass more punch and more sensitivity. Vocals & instruments are texturised by the precision dynamic driver, and highs are crisper with a new treble xMEMS driver.
Studio tools with Metropolis Studios
Headphone (1) Pro is tuned with internationally acclaimed experts, Metropolis Studios. Complementing our expertise in everyday listening technology, Metropolis Studios brings its knowledge of professional tools and audio soundstages to deliver a studio-level experience.
A dedicated Flat EQ Switch provides a neutral sound profile for producers and creators. ‘Studio B’ is a new Dynamic Spatial Audio mode that lets you experience the acoustic character of a mixing room, and five new Custom EQ profiles are designed to boost the best of British music.
Our most advanced Active Noise Cancellation at up to 46 dB
We’ve also introduced our best real-time Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation. It uses a 10-mic system to more accurately filter surroundings, especially when it’s windy or when you’re in traffic. The ear cushions have been redesigned for a stronger sound seal, with a new 8 mm silicone baffle wall inside the cushion, creating a sound barrier for even better noise control.
Headphone (1) Pro also uses Hi-Res wireless and wired playback via USB-C for lossless, high-fidelity audio up to 24 bit/192 kHz. Five modes of Dynamic Spatial Audio with head tracking create an immersive listening experience tailored to what you need at the moment.
The Nothing X app introduces more flexibility
Drag tuning points across the frequency range and individually control the Main and Precision drivers with Advanced EQ. Or adjust elements like Bass and Vocals with Simple EQ. You can personalise Headphone (1) Pro for how you prefer to listen with Personal Sound and custom EQ profiles.
Upgraded machined metal and adapted fit
Headphone (1) Pro is the most distilled version of our transparent design language – you can see hints of the triple driver architecture through the shatter- and scratch-resistant 9H Panda glass on both ear cups. Aluminium is paired with titanium for a durable, premium finish with reduced weight.
A balanced structure distributes weight evenly thanks to a wider headband with thicker padding, and an adaptive fit provides lasting comfort. At 327g, we reduced the overall weight through a redesigned internal architecture, replacing steel arms with titanium and developing softer ear cushions. Headphone (1) Pro boasts up to 68 hours of battery life with ANC off, fast charging, and an IP52 rating.
