HyperX Announced as Official Peripheral Sponsor of Kuala Lumpur Major

As the popularity of eSports has exploded in Southeast Asia with more than 9.5 million esports enthusiasts,* PGL this year will bring the global tournament of Dota 2, one of the most played titles on Steam, to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for the first time. HyperX, the gaming division of Kingston Technology, today announced to be the official peripheral sponsor of the Kuala Lumpur Major, providing competitors with the highest quality gear to compete at the highest level. Through the long-term partnership with PGL, HyperX has been one of the firmest supporters of the Dota 2 community. The Kuala Lumpur Major will be the third PGL-presented Dota 2 tournaments that have been sponsored by HyperX in 2018, followed by The Bucharest Major and China Dota2 Supermajor in March and June.

The Kuala Lumpur Major is the first Major of the new DPC 2018-2019 season, starting from November 9th to 18th. It will be held at Axiata Arena where 16 world-class teams will square off against each other for the largest piece of the $1,000,000 prize pool and 15,000 DPC points.
