Gigabyte GS25F2A Gaming Monitor Quick Review

The monitor I shared with you here last time as a bang-for-the-buck option from Gigabyte just got even better.

This is the new Gigabyte GS25F2A, now with an upgraded panel that delivers up to 240Hz native refresh rate and a true 1ms GTG response time.

It still packs a Full HD Super Speed IPS panel, with adaptive sync support and HDR ready.

With a native 240Hz refresh rate, you’re guaranteed to get the real high refresh rate experience without the artifacts you’d normally see on overclocked panels. Pair that with a legit 1ms grey-to-grey response time and ghosting is kept to a minimum—crucial for competitive gaming.

Speaking of gaming, Gigabyte’s tactical features are still here.

You’ve got Black Equalizer, which brightens dark areas without blowing out the highlights, making it easier to spot enemies in the shadows.

There’s also Aim Stabilizer, Gigabyte’s take on backlight strobing. It further reduces ghosting at the cost of some brightness.

Another handy feature is Smart Overdrive. Instead of manually tweaking overdrive settings to reduce ghosting, you can just set it to Smart Overdrive and let the monitor automatically adjust for you.

If you want sharper images, you can enable Super Resolution up to level 4.

On top of that, you still get the usual on-screen overlays like crosshair, refresh rate, and timer if that’s your thing.

All these settings can be configured either through the OSD Sidekick software or via the standard OSD joystick under the monitor.

When it comes to image quality, this monitor delivers for its price: 100% sRGB, 76% NTSC, 80% AdobeRGB, and 85% P3 coverage.

with a peak brightness of around 306 nits—right on spec.

Colors are vibrant, contrast is solid, and details are sharp enough, especially at this 25-inch size and resolution.

I/O is also substantial: 2 HDMI 2.0 ports, 1 DisplayPort 1.4, an earphone jack, plus dual 2W speakers.

Design-wise, it’s decent with thin bezels.

Adjustments are basic—tilt only—and the stand is a bit wobbly, but the good thing is it supports VESA wall mounting.

Overall, for as low as ₱7,600 , this monitor is still a solid deal considering everything it offers—especially the native 240Hz refresh rate and true 1ms GTG response time. If you’re interested, check the link below.
