It’s not all about the megapixel count and it’s certainly not all about the bells and whistles, the realme C3 is all about performance, quality and good user experience without necessarily have to be extremely fancy.

The relme C3 is also the world’s first smartphone with a MediaTek Helio G70 and as per my initial testing, it is actually quite capable. But what surprised me the most about this new budget smartphone is the camera quality. I gotta be honest, when I first saw the specifications having only a 12 MP main camera, a 2 MP Portrait and another 2 MP for Macro, I wasn’t really pumped with the triple camera setup, however, the realme C3 at least for my initial testing, proved my doubts wrong as it was able to produce decent quality photos and even videos at 1080p resolution.
Horsepower wise, the MediaTeK Helio G70 proved to be a performer scoring a whopping 181K in Antutu Benchmark. Gaming is also smooth with the realme C3 as well as the overall experience browsing the new Realme UI. I also like the so-called “Sunrise” design at the back with a different type of finish that has this sort of light rays coming from the main camera. But what’s even better is the texture and coating itself, It is fingerprint resistant which is rare nowadays with these smartphones having glossy, shiny and highly reflective design.
Overall, as for my first impressions, the realme C3 is certainly promising. The design and construction is good, the camera quality is surpisingly decent and the overall performance of the MediaTek Helio G70 for both gaming and browsing the user interface is pretty decent as well.
